Welcome to IHPS
International Hypnotherapy Practitioners Society is a society for like-minded therapists who believe in honesty, integrity and a balance of body, mind and spirit.
IHPS was envisioned and founded by Raymond and Sandie MacKay who wanted to create a society where all members were treated as equals and for the promotion and growth of hypnotherapy on a professional level in New Zealand and further afield while also maintaining high standards.
IHPS was established in 1999 by its founding members and since then has grown in numbers with members from different walks of life with different experiences and areas of expertease. IHPS members are located in both the North and South Island.
IHPS is an open society that is not bound to any dogma. It also provides a voice in the political field and runs training days. Our magazine, The Gazette, provides up-to-date information on developments in the industry and professional articles on hypnotherapy practice.
IHPS was founded on the belief that no one person owned the society and no person would be judged on personal or any other modalities that they held.
Being a part of this society means being a part of a group of like minded people who are there to see all members succeed.
